第八届诗意之艺主题文人时代文化艺术节为期一周于2023年11月5日晚落下帷幕。

“诗意之艺”主题古典音乐会暨诗歌朗诵大赛，诗意绘画大赛颁奖典礼汇聚中式雅乐乐团、西式管弦乐团、合唱团以及古典歌舞团合作演出的古典音乐、诗词吟唱、合唱、古典歌舞、国剧、太极武术等文人艺术,展现从远古至当代,从东方到西方多元文化的精彩画卷！本地一百五十多位艺术家和艺术机构带给观众文人时代的艺术经典！
音乐会最后举行了少儿诗歌大赛和艺术大赛颁奖典礼，为获奖者颁发了证书和奖金。艺术节期间艺术和诗歌朗诵作品，可在加拿大一同家园文化中心网站查询：https://www.canadaonefamilynetwork.ca查看。

音乐家周嘉丽指挥红枫华乐团演奏新古典音乐菊花台。
声乐艺术家毛柯执教的MK声乐学校儿童合唱团演唱民国时期李叔同作词的送别。
多伦多雅乐团著名音乐家冯东华、杨小磊、吴立鹏、曹丽娜共同演绎古乐府妆台秋思、春江花月夜，金雨霏小朋友朗诵唐代张若虚乐府诗春江。
多伦多雅乐团古琴家朱彦晏演奏宋代琴曲鸥鹭忘机，两位陈式太极十二代传人孙国艳、程兴钧表演诗意太极。
著名京剧表演艺术家盛莉演唱天女散花，龙声京剧票房友情伴奏。
多伦多华人艺术家中心青年交响乐团青年音乐家David Lin指挥首演三首乐团创作编曲的音乐作品，朱彦晏演唱东晋时期陶渊明作辞赋-归去来兮，MK声乐学校儿童合唱团演唱唐代王维作五言诗-画，Irene Huang作曲、Emma Wang 朗诵 Ella Lu 创作的获奖英文诗歌 Cobalt Blue.
多伦多雅乐团Sammy Zhang 和吴立鹏琴箫合奏明代琴曲平沙落雁。
著名笛箫演奏家教育家曾明教授与朱彦晏演奏合成录制宋代词人姜夔作词曲-杏花天影，青年舞蹈家Rebecca Niu编舞并表演。
来自Panwar 歌舞团印度国宝级艺术家Herman Panwar 和Vaishali Panwar带来古印度sanskrit shloka文化遗产风格原创诗词吟唱，传统舞蹈的精彩表演。
少儿诗歌大赛和艺术大赛颁奖典礼上，评委老师们为荣获大赛各项奖项的孩子们颁发证书和奖金。
诗歌比赛我们邀请了九位专家评委，计分方式为专家评委平均分，得出最终分数.

Canada One Family Network successfully launched the 8th annual Age of Literati Culture Festival

MARKHAM – Canada One Family Network successfully launched the 8th annual Age of Literati Culture Festival, “Poetic Arts” Concert and Awards Ceremony at the Flato Markham Theatre. The festival included more than 150 local artists, art institutions and businesses, and brought audiences an experience of multicultural literati arts. Performances included classical Chinese orchestral music, modern symphony orchestra music and choir, Beijing opera, court music, poetry recitations, martial arts, and dance. The Children’s Poetry Competition and Art Competition awards ceremony was held at the concert's end, with certificates and prizes being handed out to the winners. Art and poetry recitation works were shown throughout the festival, and can be viewed on Canada One Family Network’s website： https://www.canadaonefamilynetwork.ca
The concert opened with Daxia Yan reciting the Book of Poetry Song- Xiaoya-Luming, and Hong Feng Canadian Chinese Orchestra (CCO) played court music to entertain the guests.

Zhu Yanyan, Chairman of the Canada One Family Network, delivered a speech to thank Heritage Canada, the Ontario government, and Celebrate Markham for partially funding the cultural festival. She also thanked Wukong Education, the diamond sponsor for providing prizes for the Children’s Poetry Recitations and the Children’s Poetic Arts Art Exhibition, the concert title sponsor and diamond sponsor Chin-Tea Inc. Thanks to the media title sponsor Yorkbbs, and the artists and organizations who put in the effort, rehearsals and performances for the concert. HongFeng Canadian Chinese Orchestra, Toronto Yayue Art Center, Chinese Artists Association Youth Symphony Orchestra, MK Singing School, Longsheng Peking Opera Box Office, TNT Kongfu School, Panwar Music and Dance Academy.
Markham City Councilor Amanda Yeung Collucci presented a congratulatory letter on behalf of Mayor Frank Scarpitii, Councilor Isa Lee also delivered a speech. Wukong Education Canada representative Vera Cui and Chin-Tea CEO Franco Li spoke to congratulate the children's recitation and art exhibition and encourage the children to be successful in the future.
Musician Amely Zhou conducted CCO perform neoclassical music Chrysanthemum Palace The children's choir from MK Singing School, taught by vocal artist Mao Ke, sang Farewell, lyric written by Li Shutong during the Republic of China.
Musicians from the Toronto Yayue Art Center, Feng Donghua, Yang Xiaolei, Wu Lipeng and Cao Lina, performed the ancient Classical Yuefu Music, Autumn Muse over Makeup Table and Moonlit Night on the Spring River with, while Jin Yufei recited the poem Moonlit Night on the Spring River lyric written by Tang Dynasty poet Zhang Ruoxu.
Zhu Yanyan, musician from the Toronto Ya–yue Art Center, performed the Song Dynasty Guqin music Forgetting the Scheming, Mater Sun Guoyan and Cheng Xingjun, two twelfth-generation descendants of Chen-style Tai Chi, performed poetic Tai Chi.
The Peking Opera artist Sheng Li performed "Goddess Scattering Flowers", accompanied by the Long Sheng Opera band.
Young musician David Lin of the Chinese Artists Society of Toronto (CAST)Youth Symphony Orchestra conducted the premiere of three musical works composed/arranged by the orchestra's young composers.
1) Zhu Yanyan presented the poetry song “ Homeward Bound I Go “, a lyric written by Eastern Jin Dynasty poet Tao Yuanming.
2) MK Singing School Children's Chorus sang the Five-character poem “The Picture” lyric by Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei.
3) Emma Wang recited Cobalt Blue, lyric by award-winning young English poet Ella Lu, composed by Irene Huang.
Qin player Sammy Zhang and Xiao player Wu Lipeng from the Toronto Yayue Art Center performed the Ming Dynasty music master piece “Goose Landing On the Beach”.
The flute master and educator Professor Zeng Ming and Zhu Yanyan performed and recorded the lyrics and music – Plum Blossom in the Sky (Xinghua Tianying) composed and lyric by the Song Dynasty poet Jiang Kui, and the young dancer Rebecca Niu choreographed and performed classic dance.
Indian national treasure artists Herman and Vaishali Panwar from the Panwar Music and Dance Academy brought wonderful performances of ancient Indian cultural heritage Sanskrt Shloka, original poetry and traditional dance.
The awards ceremony for the Children's Poetry Competition and Art Competition was held as scheduled. The judges presented certificates and prizes to children who win various awards.
